  • I’m sorry but we cannot change usernames. You can, however, edit your displayed name by editing your profile.

sorry, i did not mean username, i meant my firstname and lastname.

i found the profile edit-page now and my first and last name was empty there, so i filled it in again and now it works.

remaining question: from where did it get my first and last name if it was empty in the profile edit page?

I think the first & last names are populated automatically based on your username.

Now my first- and last name are messed up again. I haven’t done anything with my profile since it last worked. I can see my name next to my avatar, but with wrong encoding. If i edit my profile my first and lastname is gone from there. If I add my name there again, things would probably start to work again. But only for a short while I guess.

As I see it this must be a fault on your side.

You seem to have removed both the first and last names from your profile.

Well I haven’t. But I can add them back now and let’s see how long time it takes before they are removed again.
