I’m trying my best to use the USPS Shipping extension.

My product is 4x4x2 and can fit into a flat rate padded envelope.

I have Flat rate shipping enabled.

But when someone buys one product, the price for a Medium flat rate box appears.

Is there a way to get this to assign one products to the flat rate padded envelope? Any work arounds?

    Hi there,

You’ll need to use the account that purchased the Extension from WooCommerce.com and then you can navigate to the MyAccount page and enter a ticket at the link provided.

Wondering if you were able to get this solved? I also need to add the padded envelope and so far I have not been able to get a solution from support.

@kpmarz I was able to connect with support, but they would not help me because they said I could not put an item more than one inch thick into a padded envelope. Checked with USPS and got varied opinions on that, but ultimately didn’t want to risk my packages not getting to the customer. Because of so many other problems with WooCommerce, I decided to scrap it and go with Shopify. Best decision I made. Good luck.

@kpmarz and @bodhibuild I can say with 100% certainty that you can indeed ship USPS that way but you will have to pay a little more to do so. You pay up to $3.09 for up to 3/4″ anything after that you need to declare the height. So you may need to pay $3.79.

We do it every day (last 5 years) at our beauty business and we use Ship Easy for our labels.

@serafinnyc I think you are talking about something different. This issue was in relation to a specific plugin and not being able to select the option for a flat rate padded envelope.
It wasn’t an issue with USPS, the price, or their services.

@kpmarz No, I’m pretty sure I’m talking about the same thing.

USPS Shipping Plugin: Flat Rate Padded Envelope

Her concern was a medium flat rate was showing up after someone added a second. Mostly because her dimensions were already on the products probably and wasn’t configured correctly.

    Then she commented again:

    For which I commented.

@serafinnyc If you are responded to her issue then ok.
Just doesn’t apply to what my issue was.
