USPS shipping calculation or display problems

    I did this:
    Updated to WP 4.0 and the latest WP eCommerce plugin. I had previously switched to USPS shipping option and configured it with my client’s USPS ID. It was working fine a month ago and calculating prices for national and international shipments.

    I expected WPeCommerce to do this:
    Keep running as it was, which was very well.

    Instead it did this:
    The shipping option on the checkout page keeps calculating $0. I’m not sure if this is something on the USPS side or the plugin. I don’t have a strong understanding of php so I really don’t know where to start to look for a problem.

  • I am having a similar problem. I am only posting to confirm that this is definitely an issue and not an isolated problem. I tried reverting to 3.9.2 and that didn’t help. I’m going to keep working on it and if I don’t find a solution, switch to a new cart.

    To fix the shipping issue I went into the plugin settings and unselected “Use Test Server” from the USPS Shipping module. My guess is that it has to do with the USPS web tools release earlier this month. Shipping rates were calculating and displaying fine after that.
