I have the USPS plugin installed and configured. Yet when I try to add it to my shipping zone, it is not there.

    Ideas?

  • Hi,

This plugin doesn’t appear in the add method dropdown of zone section. This plugin works independently.

In the plugin settings page, there is an option ‘Method Available to’. By using that option you can restrict the shipping method.

OK, but after configuring it, it also does not appear on the shopping cart as an available shipping option either.

    Hi,

You can turn debug mode on from plugin settings page to understand the issue better.

I turn on debug mode, but when I try to purchase a product, it says there are no shipping methods available. I added “Flat Rate” and it accepts that, but does not give me any debug information.

    Hi justasiam,

    Apologies for the late reply.
You just need to enable debug option in plugin settings.

Once you have done that, try to place an order at the cart page. You will see the request and response information. Copy this info in a link and send it to us. Also remove any sensitive data pertaining to your account from the data as this is a public forum.

Note : The request and response will not show for Flat rates as these rates are not from our plugin but are normal woocommerce configured rates.

As soon as you provide the info, we will analyze and get back to you immediately.
Let us know if you have any query.

I am sorry for the late reply. I am just so swamped these days.

When I activate debug mode, I get this when I try to check out.
    ———————————————————
    USPS RESPONSE:
    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
<Error><Number>80040B1A</Number><Description>Authorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect.</Description><Source>USPSCOM::DoAuth</Source></Error>
    ———————————————————
OK, this is weird. I go back to USPS setting and I see my username, but there is no place for the password. Ideas?
    I see the following:

    • Origin Postcode
    • Show Rates
    • Common API Settings
    • User ID
    • Debug
    • Rates API Settings
    • Fallback
