usp_custom_field shows up after field name

In order to help, I need to know the steps to get the same result on *default WP install*. Currently I am unable to replicate the described issue.

I sure do need some help with this. You had a look at it earlier.
Not sure about the steps you refer to:)

Basically try setting up a new WP site, leave everything (plugins, theme, etc.) at the defaults. Then install only USP and try again. This is recommended so that you can see how the plugin works normally, without anything else interfering.

More than likely the described issue is due to misconfiguration with the custom field settings. So starting from scratch should help you reveal whatever error is happening.

I installed a clean wordpress on my local mamp server.
Same result. the text “usp_custom_field” are displayed before the id nr

What does “before the id nr” mean? Is there maybe a URL where I can examine the issue?

id nr are what the user ads in the custom field. Its a produkt id nr.

The site runs on a local server on my computer so im afraid I cant share it?

I see.. I’ve tried to repeat this issue on default WordPress but it simply does not happen. When I activate USP and enable the custom field it just works normally. On the form the custom field label is “Custom Field” with no other text displayed.

You may want to check the following settings:

• “Custom Field Name” (should be usp_custom_field)
• “Custom Field Label” (should be Custom Field)

Those are the default settings, known to work perfectly on default WP site (i.e., default theme, plugin, and settings).

When changing the Name and Label it now says “Custom Field : usp_custom_field : 1234”

I have canned every document I could find about your plugin but cant get it to work ??

I could just choose to not show the custom field but its a nice feuture if I could get it to work.
