Using your own registration form in Tutor LMS

    I have a question about what happens when I use my own registration form and NOT the registration form of Tutor LMS.

    If I use my own registration form, will the information inside the “My Profile” tab of the user dashboard (such as First Name, Last Name, etc.) simply reflect what the user will later on input on the “Settings” tab?

    Or does the information inside the “My Profile” tab also depend on what the user will input on the registration form which I created? For example, if my custom-made registration form also contains fields such as “First Name”, “Last Name”, etc. (which the user will input when creating an account), will these information then automatically reflect/sync on the “My Profile” tab of the user once their account is created?

    Since I’m using my own registration form (assuming whatever info the user will input on my registration form does not automatically “map” their info to their “My Profile” tab in Tutor LMS), does this mean that the user needs to manually input their profile info (such as First Name, Last Name, etc.) under the “Settings” tab of the Tutor LMS dashboard after registering? And only then their info gets displayed on the “My Profile” tab?

    If you are using your own custom registration form, the information entered by the user does not automatically map to their “My Profile” tab in Tutor LMS. This means that, after registering, users will need to manually input their profile information (such as First Name, Last Name, etc.) under the “Settings” tab of the Tutor LMS dashboard.

    Once they update their information in the “Settings” tab, it will then be displayed correctly on the “My Profile” tab. If you would like to automate this process, you may need to use custom coding or third-party plugins to map the data from your registration form directly to Tutor LMS.
