Using wp_mail() is not recorded in eMail protocol

Dear @yehudah,

I am using your plugin since a while and there are no real problems.

Wordpress eMails and such delivered by ?Better Notifications“ plugins work fine and are reported through your plugin‘s protocol.

However, I have one routine sending eMails by using wp_mail() function – and such
eMails are not reported by your plugin‘s eMail protocol.

So, I assume, they don‘t go through this channel.

What could be a reason and what can I do to check the root cause?
