Using WP Zero Spam with Ninja Forms

Does anyone have experience of using WordPress Zero Spam with Ninja Forms?

The Zero Spam plugin has a ‘Ninja Forms’ option which can be ticked but it is not clear whether anything has to be done to the Ninja forms themselves to ensure that submissions get checked by the Zero Spam plugin.
