    Thanks. I’m missing something else too, perhaps you can help. From the faq I did this-

    When i click on an event in the graphical calendar nothing happens

    ‘Make sure you set up the page for the single event view. If this is not set up, nothing will happen when clicking on an event.’

    but all that happens is that when I click on an event the page I identified for single event view comes up, but no ‘event’. When creating an event, do I need to do something to associate it with the page I’ve set for single event view?

    you have to add the wp-calendar tags in your single page. my page looks like this:

    Page Title –> {event_subject}

    Page Content –>

    Ort: {event_location}
    Datum/Zeit: {event_startdate} {event_starttime} – {event_enddate} {event_endtime}

    {event_description}

    Thank you – everything now works except the date tags:

    Datum/Zeit: {event_startdate} {event_starttime} – {event_enddate} {event_endtime}

    The page isn’t picking the date and times up, although the other tags:

    Ort: {event_location}
    {event_description}

    do all work. Can you suggest how I can diplay the date/time in the event page please?
    many thanks – I’m really pleased with the progress.
    Kim
