Using wordpress.com

  • I have a couple of blogs that I have on servers I buy, but its getting too expensive for me to keep up the payments. I also am having to hire somebody to keep the blogs going, as I am not very good with php…..I was just wondering, how would I go about transferring my blogs over to the wordpress.com site…….it would be a temporary thing……I can find information going the other way, from the .com site to external host……..is it possible?

  • Once you have set up an account on wordpress.com, export the content from your self-hosted install using Tools -> Export and then import it into your new wordpress.com site using Tools -> Import.
