Is there a way to inject the wordpress/woocommerce shortcodes for customers first and last name instead of using the Mail Poet generated codes. Reason being some customers sign up but opt out of newsletter and then the default mailpoet codes [subscriber:firstname | default:reader][subscriber:lastname | default:reader] don’t seem to bring up anything and outputs as below in the email

[subscriber:firstname | default:reader] we would also like to bring to your attention ……

  • I don’t believe there is support for shortcodes at this time, but I also have been hoping for this functionality for a long time. In my case, I would like to include “upcoming events” from my calendar plugin in a scheduled email.

    Hey there @zeddenit ,

There is not support for shortcodes in the block email editor.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Hello @zeddenit ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Have a great day.
