Using wildcards in search term

  • I would like to use the wildcard “*” inside the search term. For example “Releva*” should list all postings with “Relevanssi” inside the content.

    Why does this not work by default?

    If you choose “Partial words” for the “Keyword matching” setting, searching for “releva” finds all words that begin or end with “releva”. There’s no support for wildcard operator, because it’s a bit complicated to do and rarely used.
