Using Userwp plugin, the app’s mailing system is not working

Thanks for reporting this. We need some more information about the issue you are facing. We have used default wp_mail() function to send an email which is default function of WordPress. Also please let us know how we ruined the basic mail function of WP so that we can fix it asap. Can you tell us more about adding contact us or custom mail to their plugin? Please explain the issue in detail so that we can help you out resolving it.

When we say the UserWP plugin destroys the send mail function on your website
– We mean: You are too dependent on the mail function of UserWP.

The UserWP plugin does not help you configure the MAIL SERVER on your website, which leaves you ignoring the basic SERVER MAIL configuration on your website.
– That makes your website can not use any mail function other than the function of UserWP.

That can be solved by:
– You configure the SERVER MAIL on your website.

You can do this by installing the MAIL SERVER MAIL plugin or contacting your hosting publisher and asking them for help.

Some SERVER MAIL configuration plugins you can refer to:
– WP Mail SMTP
– Easy WP SMTP

Hi,

The problem may be with your hosting services. Your site is not able to send an email from the hosted server. UsersWP doesn’t have a module for SMTP. You can use the suggested plugin which will allow using your Gmail or other mail accounts to send email from your site. Use one of the plugin and setup based on their documentation or your developer can do it easily.

Hi,

It seems there is an error sending email from your site. Try to enable WP_DEBUG and then check the error in error log. We can really provide better support in our forum where we can ask for your site details to look more into the problem.

@masurana Then revoke them, the author can get into real trouble asking for that even on their own site. That can include removing their plugin from the www.remarpro.com site.

@stiofansisland It is not sufficient to not ask for admin access here in these forums. If you tell users that but send them to your site to get around that then you’re making a mistake.

Don’t ask for that access even off site and do not send users here to your site for that purpose. It’s not necessary.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

• Ask for a link to the https://pastebin.com/ log of the user’s web server error log.
• Ask the user to create and post a link to their phpinfo(); output.
• Ask the user to install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
• Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
• Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
• Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.

You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

@jdembowski i know ur doing ur job but we have a support team on our forums that don’t have access here, all i stated was “If you need further assistance please post on our own support forum where a member of our support staff can assist further” i did not break any rules and i never asked for credentials, our main support staff on our own forums may know more about the issue.
