p.s. WordPress won’t let me buy the upgrade since I’m using domaindiscover hosting and not them. I bought more space from domaindiscover.com, but in the edit page area, it still won’t let me insert media there for audios. Therefore I uploaded my mp3 through ftp, and I have the url. The question is, how do I use your plugin with a url. thanks!

WordPress.ORG (this place) has nothing to do with buying anything. If you’re running self-hosted installation you can do what you like.

If you mean WordPress.COM, do you have a self-hosted installation?

My site is done with www.remarpro.com. I have plenty of space that I bought from my web hosting service, but for some reason when I try to upload an MP3 through the visual editor, it gives me an error that there’s not enough space. I wouldn’t mind, but in order to use this plugin, I’m told (through the video) that I need to insert my MP3 in this way.

    Hi,
I think the error is not that you don’t have enough space, but that you are trying to upload a too big file. WordPress, by default, limits file size to 10 mb for uploading (that depends on installations).

Anyway, if you have uploaded your file via FTP, you just need to insert an anchor pointing to that file in the post or page you need to have the player.

Yes, that must be the problem – the mp3 was more than 10 megabytes.

When you say I should “insert an anchor pointing to that file” what exactly do you mean? I was in visual editing mode and pasted in the url for the mp3 file, and that didn’t work.

Actually, if possible, I would like to use the text mode rather than visual mode, because my theme has given me a shortcode to use in order to divide the page into four columns, and I’d like to place an audio player in each column

    thank you

Just insert an A tag as follow:
    <a href="[the url of the mp3 file]">your file title</a>
    That will work.

And thank you for creating what is truly the best audio player available!!!
