Using Ultimate Member in non-WordPress areas of the site

    Is it possible to extend UM to let people stay logged in to other non-Wordpress areas of the site? I need to create some pages with work queues for users using DOM/javascript and didn’t want to stick that into WP.

    I am trying to get logged in user through a script called whatmember.php, but it’s coming up blank even when logged in, most likely it’s returning null.

    What can I do to WP so that I can extend user logins to other areas of the site? Or is UM just not that bendy & do I just need to make my own login system that links to the front parts of the site?

    Ultimate member does not have a feature to share user login with other sites and this does not sound like an ultimate member-specific question.

    I suggest you look into this plugin which shares login with multiple wp sites. You can look into the working principle of the plugin and try to implement that.

    Hi, sorry if I wasn’t totally clear. What I mean is I am on the same site, but using non-wordpress-constructed pages. I’m still in the htaccess folder within WordPress. Does user remain logged in, on non-wordpress pages, but within htacess folder? I tried to acquire member login through a php script but it didn’t grab the ID.

    Unfortunately, UM doesn’t have a feature or functionality to integrate it with non-WP pages.
