    Hi there,

    You’re right. I didn’t realise that Pinterest didn’t support it yet. Google has been pushing for JSON-LD, which is why we made the move. I’m surprised Pinterest doesn’t plan on supporting this.

    I’ll have to look into an option to choose either JSON-LD or inline metadata. Having both at the same time would probably be a bad idea for SEO reasons.

    Hi Darcie,

    I wanted to let you know that we’ve just released version 3.1.5 which includes a new setting on the Recipes > Settings > Recipe Template > Recipe Box page that allows you to choose between JSON-LD and Inline metadata.

    If Pinterest Rich Recipes are a requirement for you you’ll have to use the inline metadata for now. Otherwise I recommend using JSON-LD as it seems to be Google’s preferred format.
