Using this plugin for non-pdf lookups

I have been using your product successfully for pdfs. I need the similar functionality for php web address. For example, we have a lot of applications for specific corporate functions. I would like to be able to categorize them (fiscal, maintenance, etc.) and store their web address in your plugin. The user would then be able to select a category and see all of the applications listed under it. They would select the application they wanted and the plugin would launch a browser and open the app.

I tried using your existing plugin to do this but it didn’t allow anything but PDFs.
