Using this plugin triples the site's loading time – very inefficient!

    We have it set up with just 5 options (RSS, Email, FB, Twitter, Google+) and the site takes about 8-10s to load. The second we turn this plugin off, the site takes about 2-3 seconds to load. Needless to say, it’s obvious what the culprit is…

    Have you guys thought about adding some optimization options/settings in there? So that maybe the plugin JS code and 3rd party APIs are only loaded when they need to be, not on every page and such?

  • If your page takes that much longer to load, then there must be other conflicts on the site – it usually doesn’t take that long by far. Nevertheless, we will continue to improve it, thank you for your suggestions.
