Using the new Vimeo API for Vimeo videos in "Privacy Mode"

From your FAQ:
“Thumbnails from Vimeo videos in “Privacy Mode” are not supported because Vimeo’s API doesn’t deliver thumbnails for those videos”That was true for the Simple API but according to Vimeo: “to use the API to grab private metadata, you’ll need to use the new API with authenticated calls: https://developer.vimeo.com/api/start”
Any plans on enabling this?
