Using the frontpage but define other page with "latest posts"

I think you have to create a custom template and it will be better if you create a child theme, the following links may help.

Yes. You can set the frontpage to your latest post and then create a new page and assign the blog page template to that page. After assigning the template, Go to Customize > Post & Page > Blog page settings and make changes if needed.

I assigned the blog page template to a page and now I have the news posts both in Blog page and in the front page. Is there a way to disable the posts from appearing on the front page?
