Using the file upload field on iphone

  • When I try to attach a file, it gives me three options:
    – one that allow me to navigate the filesystem but not select any file – I tried a PDF
    – another that only allows me to select a photo – which works
    – and one to take a photo

    I used chrome on the latest version of IOS. I had the same behaviour on safari on ios

    This seems to be an issue with the restriction of filetypes that can be attached, for some reason, pdf is not an option on ios.

    It would be nice to have a way to override this and allow any attachment types.
