    My website did like everyone else – came up with the boy image and text below. I can hide it by following the instructions. But I actually like it and want to just replace it with my content. I haven’t been able to make the theme work like that.
    So can anyone tell me how to use the style by replacing the image and typing over the text, not just “hiding the default content from the theme”?

    Hi Louise S,

    Firstly please hide the default content, then after that please follow the following steps to keep them as the default content:

    Please upload the image which you want to keep in the header. To upload the image Go to Media=> Add New=> Then upload it => After the uploading the image please copy the link of the image which you can get by clicking on the image.
    After that:
    Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Widget=> Banner Wide=> And keep the text widget inside the banner wide widget=> After that please keep the image like this(<img src=”https://localhost/check/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/photography9.jpg”/&gt;)=> Then save it

    And for the keeping the text which appear under the banner image, please follow the following steps:
    Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Widget=> Call to Action=> And keep the code like this

    <div class="align_center" style="padding: 0rem 25%">
    <h2>Everything you need</h2>
    <p>Lavish Pro Themes provides you everything that you need on a WordPress theme, extensive customize options for user-oriented easy use, flat and modern design to capture viewers attention, plenty color options to full fill the choice of yours and many more.</p>
    <button class="btn">Download Now</button>
    </div>

    Hi Theme Author,
    I can’t follow your instructions I’m sorry. The part I don’t follow is adding the code into the widget. When I go into the dash-appearance-widget- I get to banner (not banner wide) and I drag a text box over. But where do I paste the image link?
    And in the text case I go drag a text box to call to action and paste your code, but it gives me your code that when I change the content only (not pre and post text code) it converts back to the different font.
    Looking forward to more detailed help.

    Hi Louise S,

    Please add Text widget inside the Banner widget and paste the picture link in the content box.
    And for the second issue similarly add Text Widget inside Call to Action And put the title(e.g:WELCOME to PURE & SIMPLE) and in content box write the text whatever you want(e.g:<p style=”margin-bottom:0;”>Explore my new WordPress theme called Pure & Simple…a theme built for professional bloggers with beautiful subtle features that gives you more when you are serious about your content! Unlimited colours, several blog styles, Jetpack ready with a gorgeous portfolio, mobile responsive…and much more!</p>)

    Thanks

    Hi again Theme Author,

    I’ll try the above again.

    BUT ALSO
    I just went to post my website onto a Facebook page and the picture of the boy (hidden default template) comes up on the post. But its not showing once the link is clicked. That’s no good for me.
    Can you fix this?

    thanks

    Hello Theme Author,

    “Please add Text widget inside the Banner widget and paste the picture link in the content box.” does the same as last night – it inserts a line of text as the image link onto my front page. No image.
    I did the same for the 2nd and the text automatically goes back to what is currently there.

    thanks

    Hi Louise S,

    It look like your are pasting the image url in title box of text widget, you need to paste the image url in Content box of text widget. As well as if you paste image link in content box like this https://localhost/check/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/photography9.jpg then it show the url in the fornt page but if you paste like this <img src="https://localhost/check/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/photography9.jpg"/> then you will get the image in fornt page.

    Thanks
