Using taxonomies as variables

Is this possible to use taxonomies as variables. For example if my snippet is:

{shop}, is offering a great deal on {product}

Is it possible that the snippet uses shop and product taxonomies assigned to that post. This will take the automation factor of this plugin to the next level since we will not use to mention the variables manually every time.
