Using store locator on localhost

I’m having trouble getting the plugin working on a localhost installation of WordPress.

If I add a location in via the admin panel and save, the listing has a red background which I’m assuming means there is a problem with it.

The lat, lon for all listings is 0,0 – I can’t find any way to change that.

If I then edit an item and click save a message “Invalid query: No database selected” appears.

On the front end the message “No listings found” appears.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I’m using v3.6 of store locator
