    Hi!
I am using the Custom Content Type Manager plugin. I have created a custom field that is being used on the built-in post content type. The custom field is creating a WYSIWYG editor.

If I try to use this plugin within that editor, it does not work. I don’t know if I missing something major or if the two just can’t work together. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi suzq7890,

I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to look at support cases for a long time.

If you are still facing this error here is a hint which could solve it.

WYSIWYG editors take your text and save it as you write it. Special charakters of your text have to be changed so that it is guaranteed that they can be shown inside your page. I guess that instead of showing the stars images the shortcode itself is shown. Am I right? If yes it’s pretty easy: Your editor takes the brackets [, ] and saves their codes into the database and won’t ever be parsed to the plugin. If the CCTM plugin has options to ignore these brackets you should test it. If not it’s quite impossible to solve this issue if you continue using this editor.

    Regards
