Using standard Categories

    Hi.
    We want to display Events Calendar under one menu item and display all events’ announcements under another one menu item together with all other new posts.
    Currently it seems to be not possible as Events are using different taxonomies than Posts – and due to this I can’t assign them both to one menu item.
    Is it possible to configure Events to use standard Categories. I believe it would solve the problem?

    You can achieve merging taxonomies with a plugin, but we unfortunately don’t have an out-of-the-box solution for you. Best of luck and thanks for choosing TEC ??
