Using smaller thumbnails rather than resizing

  • Hi,

    First, thanks for a fantastic plugin.

    However, having installed it, my GTMetrix Speed scores have gone from A/A to C/B because the thumbnails are being loaded full size and resized in the browser. How can I make it use resized images stored on the server?

    I’d imagine that it’s something simple that I have missed, but would appreciate any help you can offer to overcome the issue.

    What is the setting you have under Thumbnails?

    You can pick a different thumbnail and that will be used. Note that if the size doesn’t exist then the plugin won’t generate it for the older images. You’ll need a plugin like Force Regenerate Thumbnails to do that.
