Using Shortn.it and Twitter Cards

    Hi Isabella,

    Social sharing is implemented many different ways by many different WordPress plugins. They do a great job at what they do so I don’t feel the need to reinvent that wheel. I would recommend you look into one of those plugins that implements Twitter cards and whatever else to find exactly what you’re looking for.

    I have already implemented the necessary filters to replace the URLs referenced by Twitter Tools by Crowd Favorite and WP SEO by Yoast with Shortn.It URLs. If you find another plugin that works for you that isn’t yet supported, please don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll add support for it if possible.

    The shortn.it links do work with Twitter cards afterall. It doesn’t render them some of the time, but after deleting and re-tweeting again with the shortn.it link, it works.
