• Hi, first of all let me congrats you for the great plugin. It help me a lots with a requirement.

I installed the Members Plugin to create more granular roles and permissions in my test WordPress site but the problem is when the user logs in the site using ADFS because the role is assigned again by the plugin configuration.

Is possible add the new roles added by Members Plugin in the Service Provider’s settings?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

  • +1 from me. Being forced to use the standard WordPress roles is much too limiting in my environment.

You can just add your custom roles in the update_role() function located in the lib > classes > saml_client.php file

I have the same request. I am using the Members plugin along with the saml-20-single-sign-on plugin. I have added a new role using the Members plugin feature. When using the saml-20-single-sign-on to assign roles based on groups, I want also a custom group added. Then I can assign the custom role to the custom group.

Does anyone know how can I create a custom group to show up in the configuration/setting of the saml-20-single-sign-on plugin service provider tab under group section?
