Using rules to hide fields

    I have multiple questions on my form. For each question (when it is answered yes), I want to hide the other questions and some of the other same fields. For the first question, I configure the rule to display specific content when the user selects yes. The second rule hides the other questions and other content when the user selects yes. This works perfectly for the first question. When I configure the show fields for the second question, it works, but as soon as I add the rule to hide content, things go wrong. Tht is, the content that was initially hidden in the first rule, now appears. These are yes and no questions. What could I be doing wrong? Thank you.
