    Good Morning,

IM very new here so forgive me if i do not provide the right detail.

I have the rss multi imorter on my blog. right now its only over in the right column but ive been looking for days on how to get it in the main area of the blog. If it helps to know the theme im using is IFeaturePro 5

I cannot for the life of me find out how to put that in the main blog area as there are no options in the theme for putting widgets in that area. it seems like i read someplace that i would have to change that area from a place to post. which is fine but i have no idea how to put it in the main box to the left.

If it helps the url is https://alldigitalradionetwork.com/

    Thank you all

    Darryl

Apparently the original post that i made that had the short code in it has been pushed all the way to page 3 under “whats new on all digital radio”
    https://alldigitalradionetwork.com/page/3/

The posts on pages 1 and 2 are posted WITH MY name on them as tho i manually did them but they are being fed by the rss feeds in the multi feed

APPARENTLY i clicked something in the post settings that i dont realize. I may have figured it out and i have deleted most of the offending posts. someone also mentioned there could have been an auto update

There are 2 ways to use the plugin, one is with the shortcode and the other the feed to post. If you put the shortcode into a blog post (which is fine), but activate the feed to post, then new blog posts will come in automatically (that’s what the feed to post does). Solution – just make sure the feed to post is not activated.

Thank you again for all of your help.

I have noticed that my feeds do not seem to update except maybe once per day. I hve it set to update every 10 minutes but one of the feeds has 3 new things posted on it over the last few hours and ive hit “click to fetch feeds now” button several times. Are there any cron jobs that need to also run in order to make this happen?

    Everything listed is from yesterday.

my apologies. they did not all show up. the latest one showed up. i misread.

yes…it looks like you had the draft mode turned on (and now it’s in publish mode), so that would account for the difference.

ok (im still new at this)

If draft mode was turned on wouldnt those posts be showing up as drafts

Also in the RSS FEED admin i have this as my first feed
    https://alldigitalradio.com/rss.xml

There are 2 posts from today but only the one showed. is that also because of drafts? and is there anything i can do now to get that on the page?

in WordPress, when you put a post in draft mode, it doesn’t show up on your site – its a draft, it is not published.

Yes, the first items in that RSS feed is exactly what you have on your Posts page.

What you’re seeing is some posts aren’t there because you had them there once but they are now in the trash. My plugin won’t bring them in again if they are in the trash – so, you need to empty the trash.
