Using plugin on WPEngine

Hello!

We’ve used this plugin to great effect for many years. However, we’ve recently changed hosts to WPEngine, where the plugin no longer works due to a conflict with their caching mechanism. Wondering if there is a known workaround or fix?

They do offer built-in password protection, but it sets up with a username/password combo, and we’d must prefer password-only. Thanks!
