Using [plugin code] in plain html
-
Maybe this was already asked before, but I’ll ask nonetheless ??
There’s a plugin I use to post videos on my blog. The problem is, that if you wrap the video url in [proplayer width=’xxx’ height…etc]video file url[/proplayer], it works perfectly, but only if you use that in posts or pages. I’d wish for the [proplayer] tag to be parsed in plain html (as in if I’d paste the tag code somewhere into the theme’s html code, as I need an advertisement video to show up somewhere aether than in my posts). The result I get is plain ‘[proplayer width=’xxx’ height…etc]video file url[/proplayer]’ as text.
And I know I can’t parse the code via a post > check page’s source code > paste the generate html code for the video into my theme code, as some parts of the video code are randomly generated everytime the viewer reloads the page, due to which the code is dynamic and won’t work simply by pasting it’s generated html into my theme files. So yeah, hell load of text ^ and I doubt many of you understood what I’m trying to get at ??
So once again, I want stuff like [proplayer][/proplayer], [z-index][/z-index], [etc…] to be treated by wordpress in plain html same way as it’s treated when put in pages and posts.Any possible plugin or a solution that would help me out here? ^^
