Using Photo Gallery for All Photos/Replace WP Media

  • Hello,

    I am building a larger site with WP for the first time that will features 20+ galleries and 1,000+ photos, cad drawings, and images. And a handful of videos and animations.

    Should I be using Photo Gallery for everything, and completely not using WordPress Media?

    Should I be using WordPress media for images I want to embed in Posts and Pages, and use Photo Gallery only for Galleries.

    Should I have the same photo in both places?

    I also have Meta Slider. How do I organize the photos that are in those sliders?

    Can I use Photo Gallery instead of Meta Slider?

    Sorry for the newbie questions. Trying to get the media for my site organized. Thanks for a great plug-in.

    Dear lshr,

    Unfortunately there is not a functionality of adding videos to gallery but it will be available in near future. You had better use our own uploader for uploading images which you will use in Gallery. As for using the same photo in two places, yes it is possible. Unfortunately there is not a functionality of using Photo Gallery as a slider but it will be available in future updates too.
