• My WordPress installation is in a folder one level above root.
Got the .htaccess and index.php all squared away.
    URL shows as sample.com
    Runs fine at sample.com/content

However, I want to put a new folder in the root directory called images
    (address: sample.com/images)
It seems like I used to be able to use that second root folder to store stuff I want to be found quicker (shorter URLs) than using the whole wp-content/uploads etc.
But now it doesn’t seem to be working any more.
    Advice?
    thanks

    Kerch
