Using only /%post_id%/ as custom permalink structure is any good?

I’m trying to find the answer for using only /%post_id%/ in custom permalinks its good enough for meme, funnypictures or videoembed tv style sites? Lets take an example https://vimeo.com/87624949 or https://cheezburger.com/59261953
I would consider using the same structure for my site for better performance. Is this a good solution?
