  • Hi, Thank you weigertj but i am not so good with codes.

@ John Clause, author of qtranslate x: will you come out with a solution without touching the codes?

    waiting to hear from you

Hi somesh01, you are welcome! I also hope that there will be an official fix. However, probably it should be addressed to the author of qtranslate-slug. It would be great if the two plugins merged.

hi everyone! i just updated qts and fixed the menu link to the default language and reverted our code to use qtx functions.

please have a go with it, and let me know there’s some problems.

    Hi Pedro,

it seems to work fine on my site, thank you!

    Dear kuchenundkakao and members,

I migrated to qTranslte X but I lost the italian part of the website, i have only the English one. I think it is because qtranslate slug. I don’t understand where i have to go to do the modification as kuchenundkakao suggested. where can i find the line 703? I clicked Edit od Qtranslate slug but ther are less lines than 703.

    can you help me please?

    regards

Did you activated italian after you migrated?

Hi somesh01, I think that you don’t need kuchenundkakao’s modification at line 703 after upgrading Qtranslate Slug, do you? I don’t use it and my site is fine, hreflang tags are fine. I also deactivated the migration helper.

what do i have to do in order to activate it?

my website is working and I can switch the languages but if I try to edit the pages I cannot see the texts in the two languages and the seo. I see them only in one language

    I have qtranslate slug 1.1.16

    Dear Pedro and group members,

I found out that the Italian language is activated. The only problem is when I edit a page: if I switch from a language to another I cannot see the Italian text but only the English one and it is the same for the seo.
i think that the problem is about Q translate slug. Do you have any tips or suggestions?

Thank you very much for your support!

Here the list of all my plugins. The two in bold are NOT active but still on my website:
    Advanced Code Editor
    Antispam Bee
    Select Contact Form 7
    Contact Form 7
    Google Analytics by Yoast
Google XML Sitemaps v3 for qTranslate

    Smart Youtube PRO

    Testimonials Widget
    WordPress SEO
    WordPress SEO & qTranslate-X
    WP Google Maps
    WP Super Cache

    somesh01, thanks for reporting!

you didn’t put qts in bold, does it mean its not activated?

They are all activeted but mqTranslate and qTranslate. Qtranslate slug is activeted.

    Do you mind deactivating qts?

then check if the problem persist?

I did it but it doesn’t work. When I open a page and I click on the second language the text and seo are still the same but if I look at the page and I switch language it works perfectly???!!! maybe it is not a problem of Qtranslate slug but of Qtranslate x?
