    Hello,

    We found a bug:

All plugins, themes and WordPress core are up to date

Create an event with two tickets and save.

From the back end of WordPress navigate to Events > Attendees

    Select “Add new”

Fill in Attendee fields and click “Add attendee” in the pop up box.

Attendee shows up in the attendee list AND WooCommerce creates an order under WooCommerce > Orders

On the Attendee list, for the attendee that was just added, click “Move.”

Select “Move attendee to a different ticket within the same event”

    Click Next.

Select Ticket Type and click “Finish!”

Attendee shows up in the attendee list, and is NOT duplicated in the Attendee list. However, WooCommerce creates a NEW additional order under WooCommerce > Orders.

    The problem:

Ticket availability now shows as two less, instead of one less, because WooCommerce created a new order when moving an attendee. It doesn’t take into account that it is the same attendee.

The way to get the ticket availability corrected is to go into WooCommerce > Orders and select to “cancel” the order that was created before the “Move.”

This is a major issue for us, because we will need to manually add and move attendees for an event with limited ticket capacity.

How do we edit and move attendees without reducing ticket availability in the process?

Is the only way really to go into each and every new WooCommerce order and select to “Cancel” the ones that no longer apply? This seems very, very tedious to have to do.

Can this be fixed? Can your system communicate with WooCommerce to automatically cancel or simply update the ticket SKU for the attendees that get “moved” to a new ticket?

    Hi @joycegrace

    Thanks for reaching out.

Attendee shows up in the attendee list, and is NOT duplicated in the Attendee list.  WooCommerce creates a NEW additional order under WooCommerce > Orders.

I have successfully reproduced the issues you described. However, I will need to consult with the team to determine whether this behavior is expected or not.
