• hey there,
i was hoping that some kind soul might be able to help me…

i’m using the merdeka theme on my blog and i’ve customised it quite a bit (added a header image and so on) and everything seems to be hunky dory in firefox and as the original demo site works fine in safari i know it’s something i’ve done – but can’t for the life of me figure out what.

i would be hugely greatful if anyone could help me out with this at all…

    xxsxx

    Looks fine in IE7.

As I read your original post I suspect I can guess why there’s not been much response — you kinda neglected to mention what the problem you’d like help with is! [oops, my bad. problem is the TITLE, not the article. gotcha]

There are some “validation challenges” that you might want to tackle though.

thanks so much for your reply,
i knew it was fine in ie as that seems to be what most of my readers are using (or firefox) so i’ve had no complaints, but i have noticed myself that it’s not working properly in safari (specifically that the navigation menu won’t open allthough there are other problems too)

i had a look at the wc3 validation page before trying to figure this out but the problem i had was trying to work out which actual php pages were causing the errors – unlike a regular html/css page where it is quite straightforward….

apologies if i’m asking dumb questions, i’m kind of feeling my way here and the friends i would normal ask for help are all pc people ??
