Using MaxButtoms in Multisites

  • Hello,
    I’m working with MaxButtons (Free Version) and WordPress Multisite with 5 sites.
    A lot of my designed buttoms I want to use in all of my sites.In my installation it is not possible to use the buttom id=xy from site2 also in site4.
    It would be great to use the same button or a coppied button (same design but other link) in more as one site.
    Does anyone have a solution for my problem?

    Hi,

    You can’t share buttons between installation, but MaxButtons PRO offers a way to export buttons and import then elsewhere.

    Please note if you think about doing that, it’s best to link your buttons by name and not ID, since the latter will be different on all sites

    ( so not [maxbutton id=xx] , but [maxbutton name=’unique-button-name] – this will make it cross-site working similarly )
