Using jquery cycle's pager in combination with wordpress titles

I have built a jquery cycle slider with pager, that works as it should, but I was wondering if it’s possible to use a post’s title inside the pager (click title to go to the slide that contains that post).

I’ve looked around a bit but couldn’t find anything, and I can’t think of a possible way to do this right now except for diving into the javascript (right…), but since there’s a way for everything, does anybody have an idea?

In short: Is it possible to use the_title(); inside jquery cycle’s navigation/pager?
