Using it with custom login plug-in

Hi I am using custom login plug in and I created my own styling for the sign-up and login pages. When I activate this plug-in it does two strange things,
1. first although I tell it to use English, it uses German as the default language, and the font is grey color difficult to read
2. second, it cancels my own styling and switches back to default wordpress styling, (Note background image stays the same but size of login box is little larger in my styling it changes this back to original wordpress size)
