Using instant wordpress, front page 404 error

Hi. I’m trying to set up a local host to edit my theme before it goes live. I’m using instant WordPress and from the dashboard when I try to go to the front page or the WordPress admin page, it doesn’t connect. the front page just gives the usual error you get when not connected to the internet and the admin page gives me a login page without any CSS. when I enter the username and password and “admin” and “password”, it just says couldn’t connect. the same goes for any link I click on the page such as “forgot my password” and “submit” without entering any username and password. any help would be greatly appreciated.
