    Hello there,

I have just started using KeyCDN and have been having issues with my gallery plugin – FooGrid. I have Autoptimize and WP Super Cache installed.

By experimenting I have found that setting the JS to “Load Early” in AO gets the gallery working as it should. If I turn off this option when I click on the image it just loads a full page image. Also if I disable the CDN it works OK without having to force the JS to load early.
I have also tried excluding the plugin in the “exclude scripts” box with no success.

Any assistance or pointers would be appreciated.

    TIA

ok, when you’re not forcing JS in head, what JS errors (if any) do you see on the browser console?

I’m getting the following error regardless whether the JS is forced or not in Developer Tools:

(index):18 Uncaught ReferenceError: FooBox is not defined
    at (index):18
    (anonymous) @ (index):18

I can’t see any other errors highlighted.
When I have the JS forced into the head the FooGrid gallery effect acts as normal as mentioned. The script displayed in Developer Tools stays the same with no variation that I can see from when the page is initially loaded.
When I don’t force the JS into the head, and I get just the image in a full page only when the image is clicked, then the script changes to a few lines which mention the image source etc.

Thanks again for your time Frank.

ok, can you try adding fooboxV2/js/foobox.min.js to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list (make sure js/jquery/jquery.js is in there as well)?

(the blue nile is bliss indeed! ?? )

No joy with trying that Frank although I do lose the error mentioned above. Thanks again, it might just be something that I will live with.

nah, this has to be fixable without forcing JS in head … do you have a non-PROD site that can be broken, I’d like to see what is happening?

I only have the live site. I’ve no problem with giving you my log in for that if you wish?

Jim & I continued our conversation over email, eventually reaching the conclusion the problem was due to an eventhandler being added to the picture by slimstat breaking the normal eventhandlers. excluding slimstat from optimization fixed the problem.

Not obvious, but always good to learn ??

Very grateful to you Frank for taking the time to get to the bottom of this for me. A great person to deal with and as helpful as you’ll get. (Plus my site is running like a Ferrari again now with some good music choices on the radio ?? ).

    Much obliged!

    Hi,

You can also instruct Slimstat to leave certain links alone so that it doesn’t interfere with other code attached to them:
