Using Images in Media Library

    We just inherited a site for a client that uses the GeoDirectory Business Directory plugin.

    The only problem seems to be with the images. They’ve uploaded the same image to multiple businesses. In some cases, they have had to resize and replace them, which deletes them altogether, which seems to create broken images on the other pages or leaving them to update the same thing multiple times.

    I saw that the plugin does not go through the media library for performance reasons. Is there a way around that or a way to prevent the broken images or doing the same work repeatedly?

    Hello,

    What is the reason for adding the same image to multiple listings? is this a placeholder image, if so there are ways to add those so that you don’t need to upload it multiple times. If this is the case then you have options to add a default image per site, per CPT and per category.

    Hello, I have the same problem. For example, if we add several listings that are a franchise and have the same logo, for each listing that is added, the same image must be uploaded over and over again. Is there a way to change this?

    Hi @jordiroscamps,

    For franchises you can simply lock the logo field and then the main listing logo will be used for all.
