Using image on a cached site in signature of forums doesn’t work

I’ve noticed this on two forums that I am a member of. In both of those, I link to the image “https://zanshin-sailing.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/apple-touch-icon-iphone-60×60-1.png” in my signature line. In both I get the “broken-image” icon and I get the alt text. If I use an image link (either .png and .jpg) in another site, the image gets displayed correctly.

What could be causing this?

No, I do not. I checked my .htaccess just to make sure as well.

I did some more checking and realized that the error persists, even when I switch off caching (in the Tools -> Debug Settings -> Disable all features to “ON”). I thought I’d tested that before opening up this query. So the cause is not the Litespeed cache, but somewhere else in my WordPress site.
