• There’s a way to use if/ else statements instead of page templates. Is there a tutorial that would demonstrate how to do this?

  • Sounds as though Conditional Tags are what you’re after.

possibly – depending on what you are trying to do.

    please post more details.

if I want a different page layout for different categories rather than using a page template for the different look that I want,I’ve read that using conditional statements will keep things better organized. I’d like to see a tutorial so that I can get my brain around it. So let’s say category A would use page template A and categories B,C,D would use page template B and so on. Rather than create the different page templates, how could I use conditionals to get the same result? Or am I better off sticking with different page templates?
