Using Icelandic letter

  • How do you type those characters in your posts?
    Are the strange characters in posts/Pages or in the template files??
    If in template files – it means you are saving those files with a text editor that doesn’t have utf-8 support or (if it has) your settings are not correct!

    In posts and comments everything is working fine, all characters ?,e,? etc are alright, i had to edit few theme files to Icelandic, and after upload, it does not show right characters, i am using php designer 2007 to edit php files.

    What is best to use to edit those files.

    Read it again: you probably didn’t set your editor to save files with utf-8 encoding. I am not familiar with that editor but even NotePad in XP has that functionality!
