Using hooks? to modify HTML before output

Hi

I am wanting to strip all HTML comments (that may be added by plugins etc) before the HTML is outputted to the browser.

Is there anyway of doing this with hooks or whatever?

I don’t want to go through all the plugins and modify each ones code individually, as when a plugin gets updated all this hard work will get undone – plus I have lots of site (so even more work).

I’m hoping there is a way to achieve this with a hook or something ??
