    Hi,

Is there a way to use the header tags to change the look of text in a post or page?

For example, on my main page I want to have some of the text larger and in a different font than the body font.

I see the list of header tags in the Customise options but don’t know how to use them.

    Thanks.

  • Hi there!

Yes you can. You’ll find some instructions on using the visual editor here in this tutorial on WordPress.com (it works the same for self-hosted WordPress sites). Look under the section Styles.

Keep in mind there are accessibility reasons to use header tags also. Screen readers use those tags to organize content for visually impaired users, for example. Just something to consider. ??

    Thanks for that link!

I can’t believe all I had to do was click the ‘toolbar toggle’ to open that row! Doh!

Thanks for your patience with very simple questions :B
